About the Technical Recruiter role:

We are seeking a self-motivated, dynamic individual to join our successful Silicon Valley office as our new Technical Recruiter. The Technical Recruiter will play an integral role in developing ERG’s pipeline of talent and will be responsible for delivering highly qualified candidates for multiple technical positions. This is a hands-on role and requires the ability to complete the full recruitment cycle, from screening to placement. Our ideal candidate is a confident, creative, highly motivated and self-driven individual, with a knack for negotiation, and an interest in technology.

Desired Skills and Experience

Duties & Responsibilities of Technical Recruiter

  • Identify diverse, top level talent through aggressive sourcing methods which include internet research, networking, employee referrals, advertisements, career events, and other sources as needed
  • Conduct technical screening and selection interviews to gather appropriate candidate information
  • Identifying opportunities for candidates to assist them in their professional development
  • Motivate candidates and provide appropriate direction and advice that may impact career decisions
  • Collect and analyze feedback and distribute information to candidates, hiring managers, and internal team throughout recruiting process
  • Manage appropriate candidate tracking and reporting in Applicant Tracking System
  • Recruit and place talent from a multi-source pipeline including internal candidates, internet sourcing, networking, direct application, and cold calling methodologies

Expected Qualifications for the Technical Recruiter candidate:

  • 1-3 years of recruitment experience
  • Knowledge in full lifecycle recruitment, including thorough pre-qualification screening, interviewing and closing professional level candidates across multiple levels and disciplines
  • Understanding of Technical terminology, trends, and culture
  • Highly driven, calm, creative, and an astute ability to set realistic goals
  • Outstanding written and in person communication, interpersonal, and client presentation abilities
  • Effective in presenting oneself as a business partner to gain trust and respect of candidates and coworkers
  • Comfortable with heavy outbound phone sales
  • Special drive and urgency to push until a deal is closed
  • Organization and the ability to keep composure when handling many tasks
  • Technical sales experience is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher a plus (will consider a combination of education and experience)
